Our History
For over ten years, we have been committed to elevating the Muslim mind and creating thinkers, changemakers and pioneers by producing inspiring, thought-provoking content, borne out of our desire to revolutionise the education system. This includes dozens of videos and articles, conferences and hosting top scholars and experts about important subjects such as economy, geopolitics, food, healthcare and permaculture, from an Islamic lens.
2012
KNOW officially launched at our successful, sold out inaugural event in Nottingham, called ‘Clarity about Reality’ – attended by 350 people and featuring 4 different speakers across diverse topics.
2013 - 2015
Years of excellent growth, growing a good following online with regular lectures, articles and content, including an annual event called ISEEK, with a core focus primarily on understanding the world and providing solutions through the lens of end-times eschatology.
2016-2019
We pivoted and rebuilt and rebranded the organisation to become an ‘EdTech’ platform. The idea being to make a bespoke two-sided course and content marketplace where every Muslim could share what they know with others in a bitesize, digestible way, with our philosophy being “everyone’s got something to learn, everyone’s got something to teach.”
2019-2022
Finding funding to grow the tech platform was difficult so we led and channelled our growth efforts towards content and media, and created a media series called ‘The Second Golden Age’ – aimed at reviving the spirit of the first golden age and inspiring and educating a new generation of thought and ideas.
2022-Present
Launched a pilot version of the Know Your Purpose program. Began to focus on serving the problem of purpose and went deep into developing the ultimate resource for Muslims on finding their purpose and living by it.
