Many of us have heard of Al-Khwarizmi, the father of algebra and algorithms but do you know what inspired his work on algebra? Presenting episode 10 where we look at the influence of Al-Khwarizmi's work and how it was essential to the computer revolution.

We take a lot of things for granted today, many that would not have been possible if it weren’t for the discoveries made during the Islamic golden age. This was a time where faith was used as a reason and proponent for these discoveries. Inventions such as flying machines, maps, cheques, algorithms and much more took place in a time of innovation, inventiveness and creativity in the Islamic World.
