From Algorithims to Windmills

Often we casually hear about some of the discoveries made through the Islamic golden age, the most common ones being about the creation of Algebra and Algorithms.

But who discovered these things?

What other inventions took place?

How have they affected the world that we presently understand?

We take a lot of things for granted today, many that would not have been possible if it weren’t for the discoveries made during the Islamic golden age. This was a time where faith was used as a reason and proponent for these discoveries. Inventions such as flying machines, maps, cheques, algorithms and much more took place in a time of innovation, inventiveness and creativity in the Islamic World.
