... and can cause spiritual suffering too. Negative suppressed emotions and feelings creates stress in the body and can manifest in high/low blood pressure, memory loss, drastic weight loss/gain, low self - esteem.

Following these steps should help make things easier.

1. Acknowledgment -

Find and understand why you’re feeling and acting a certain way. There’s a reason you’re reacting so strongly. It helps to locate the feeling in your body too. Is it in your chest, head, stomach or back? You could to talk to yourself or someone you trust about how you’re feeling. You could write it down too or simply make a mental note of it.

2. Confrontation

With the intention of solving the problem, confront what’s giving you a reason to react this strongly. If the situation doesn't allow for confrontation, talk about how you’re feeling in a calm manner, without placing blame. This gives you a chance to express yourself. Observation is empowering too, as you remove yourself from the equation and offers an opportunity to adopt a different perspective so you can understand things in a different light.

3. Take responsibility

Reflecting on reactions and responses will help you understand your feelings. Tracing back your steps in your experiences will help you figure out what got you to this point. At the same time, ask yourself if things could have been handled differently if you had a different emotional response.

4. Self-Care

Consistent self-care of different kinds like meditation, eating greens or journaling has a significant effect on mental, emotion and physical well being. An activity like running does well to shake off anxiety and negative energy. I encourage practicing gratitude and forgiveness which can quickly raises your vibrations and clears your energy.
