Theres a lot of unknowns in life and a lot that isn’t in out control and the thing is, many times, fear of the unknown makes us feel out of control. And that’s when we start to question if we’re crazy of not.. (haha)

You have heard of physical health and mental heath but I’m talking about emotional health which is so important but very often gets shoved in a corner.

When you have an understanding of your emotional health and well-being, you carry less stress and fear in your body and that quickly clear your mind which leaves you feeling free from things like a knot in your stomach or a head full of thoughts.

Number 1 - It’s normal to have emotions, it’s part of the human experience. You are not wrong for having emotions and you don’t need to ask for permission to feel your feelings. They are yours. When it comes up, feel it, all of it. Then let it go.

Number 2 - You are not your emotions, you are the person experiencing them. It is not who you are, it’s what you feel. It is not apart of your identity, it does not make you any less.

Number 3 - Emotions are in your body, not in your mind. It is said that emotions stay in the body for about 90 seconds or so but many people wonder why it feels like a whole lifetime.

This is because you lack healthy ways of coping with these emotions and then decide to bottle them up, suppress them try to convince yourself that it will magically sort itself out.

Wrong! Your mind will work to figure out this emotion and it attaches memories and create future fear, or potential worries to it too. If you don’t take the time and energy to process everything, it gets stored in the body until you do. Find a way to bring them up, feel it, heal it and move on in a healthy way and you can be certain of growth.
